Request for Certificate of Taxes and other charges for Mobile Homes

 

Under Sec. 14.01.022 of the New Castle County Municipal Code and as a service to attorneys and other interested persons, the Office of Finance is authorized to provide a certificate showing all outstanding taxes and other charges on real property that are collected by the County. The certification will be provided to any person who submits a request for such certificate and provides payment of the fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00). Along with payment, a photo or scan of the original title of the mobile home property, and a copy of a government-issued photo ID for each future owner must be submitted. The certification from NCC will cover current and delinquent county and school property taxes, as well as any outstanding Land Use / Code Enforcement fees.

In the following section, the order of the names in the Future Owner's list is arbitrary. A higher number DOES NOT imply a higher percentage of ownership or responsibility for the property.

 

A photo ID MUST be uploaded for each future owner listed.  Certification requests will NOT be processed if a photo ID is not included for each future owner.

Your certification will NOT be processed until payment is received for the certificate by NCC.

 

This request will ALSO NOT be processed if there are any outstanding tax, sewer, or Land Use / Code Enforcement fees or violation balances owed on the parcel.
