Building Better Communities Grant Fund

 

The Building Better Communities (“The BBC”) Initiative was launched under the direction of County Executive Matt Meyer to identify and implem t strategies that will result in violence reduction and increased community engagement in under-served neighborhoods throughout New Castle County. Our next community of interest are Penn Rose.

 

Applicants that can demonstrate a capacity to serve the following metric(s) (access to youth services, physical/mental health, or violence intervention programming) in the Penn Rose area will be given higher priority in the current application process. Please watch the video recording of our last community of interest information session before filling out the application.  This will provide guidance on creating a strong application:

Your approval of grant application is subject to standard ARPA reporting requirements.

Failure to comply in a timely manner will affect implementation status.
